Cookie policy
Effective date: 11 August 2026
Last updated: 11 August 2026
The short version
Strictly necessary storage keeps this site working and remembers your cookie choice. Nothing else runs until you say so: with analytics off, no Google script is loaded and no request is made to Google; with functional off, nothing is requested from Elfsight. We run no advertising or profiling cookies of any kind.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies — local storage, for instance — do the same job in a different way. This policy covers both; where we say “cookie” below, we mean either.
What we actually use
This is the complete list. If it ever changes we bump the version of this policy, which asks you to choose again rather than carrying your old answer over.
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ie-cookie-consent | Local storage (first party) | Strictly necessary | Stores which cookie categories you allowed, together with the date and the version of this policy you agreed to. | Until you clear it or the policy version changes |
| _ga | Cookie (Google) | Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another so visits can be counted. | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Cookie (Google) | Analytics | Keeps the state of the current analytics session. | 2 years |
| Elfsight widget storage | Cookie / local storage (Elfsight) | Functional | Set by the Elfsight flipbook that displays our catalogue on the Catalogue page. Only loaded once you allow functional cookies. | Set by Elfsight — see their own policy |
The categories
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These need no consent and cannot be switched off.
- Functional — lets the Elfsight flipbook load so the catalogue can be displayed. Off by default.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, used to understand which pages are visited and where people get stuck. IP anonymisation is enabled and advertising signals are switched off. Off by default.
Third parties
Two third parties can receive data, and only after you allow the matching category:
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) — usage statistics. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Elfsight LLC — the flipbook that displays our catalogue. See Elfsight’s privacy policy.
We do not sell data and we allow no advertising networks on this site.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Choose “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, or use the button below. When you switch analytics off we also delete the analytics cookies already on your device, rather than only stopping future collection.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so for strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site working.
More information
How we handle personal data generally is described in our Privacy Policy. Questions about this policy can go to info.pt@iskraemeco.com.
